Become a Member

The requirements for membership in the Chicago-Great Lakes Section of the American Nuclear Society are fairly simple. Basically, if you live in northern Illinois around the Chicago area, Michigan, or Ohio you are eligible to be a member, provided you are not a member of another local section. Although you are not required to join (hyperlink the word join to the main ANS membership page) the National ANS organization to participate in the local Chicago-Great Lakes Section, the section encourages all of its members to join the national organization. In many cases, employers pay the annual membership fees for employees that ask. Note that in order to serves as an officer of the Local Section, you must also be a national ANS member.
